Yadira earned her B.Sc. in Nuclear Physics from the University of Havana (Cuba) in 2009 and an M.Sc. in Nuclear Physics from the same institution in 2011. She later obtained an M.Sc. in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (USA) in 2024. Yadira’s research focuses on developing and optimizing radionuclide-based therapies for triple-negative breast cancer, particularly exploring the combination of PARP and BET inhibition to enhance tumor radiosensitivity.
