Victor Fernandes

Victor Fernandes is an Image Scientist in the laboratory of Dr. Reinier Hernandez in the Department of Medical Physics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He previously served as the department’s first Entrepreneurial Fellow, leading initiatives to translate imaging innovations from the lab toward commercial applications. In his current role, Victor develops automated image analysis and dosimetry pipelines to support radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT) research, and investigates novel approaches for in-vivo cell tracking using radiolabeled cells. Working closely with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), he aims to advance the technology transfer and commercialization of the lab’s cell labeling platform.
